Honey Apple Sauce

Introduction

This yummy apple sauce is incredible! And high in fiber. This yummy apple sauce is incredible! And high in fiber.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Apples, fresh, 1 cup, quartered or chopped (remove)
    Honey, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Water, tap, 3 fl oz (remove)
    Corn Starch, 5 grams
    Splenda, 2 tsp

Tips

I don't know how much peeling or not peeling affects the nutrition but it's better if you peel the apples.


Directions

Chop up the apples and put in a bowl with water. Put it the microwave for four minutes. Mash a bit, then put in for another four minutes.

Drain the liquid and while it's still hot mix with the cornstarch and honey to create a thick, sticky goo. Add the apples, splenda and cinnamon and mix together.

Serve warm or chilled.

Serving Size: Makes 2 half cup servings
