Ingredients

    4 chicken breasts,
    1 pkg frozen broccoli (10 oz)
    1 large onion, diced (about 1 cup)
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    1/4 teaspoon dried sage
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    6 cups low-sodium or homemade chicken stock
    1 cup baby bella mushrooms, diced (about 5 ounces)
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    3/4 cup low-fat evaporated milk
    1 c diced celery

Tips

There have been at least 2 people that have made this and said it was too salty. You may either want to cut back on the salt or not use salt altogether. If you use the Sparkpeople recipe for cream of chicken, it will greatly reduce sodium


Directions

Cook on low for 4 hours. If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over whole wheat pasta cooked al dente or brown rice.
