8 small stalks asparagus (trimmed)
2 slices cheese (your favorite, I used ultra thin provolone and swiss)
Sprinkle Mrs. Dash, Garlic & Herb (or favorite)
2 slices Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bread or Aunt Millie's Light Potato Bread
You can add any seasonings you like. A zesty mustard is also a nice add before cooking (if you like mustard, lol).
Tons of protein (over 15g) in one sandwich. Add a light tomato soup and you have a hearty lunch even the kids will love.
Assemble sandwich and grill until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown on both sides, use pannini grill or about 2-4 minutes per side.
