Didn't care for the lemon peel taste. Might try again without the lemon peel and adding some basil and minced garlic. - 10/21/07

We make this all the time but include potatoes cut in wedges in the roasting. Also a couple garlic cloves. - 6/3/09

Tastes just like Chicken Limone from our favorite Italian restaurant. Hubby, our son and I all love it. We sprinkle capers on top. Very easy to make. - 5/30/08

I didn't have fresh lemons so I omitted the peel, but it was tasty without it. It was so easy to prepare. My young children thought it was too tangy but the adults liked it. Sometimes chicken can look really white and bland but with paprika on top, it gave the chicken a nice color and appearance. - 7/17/08

Seemed to border on sour taste--next time will probably add some reduced-sodium chicken broth, halve the lemon juice, and replace the oregano with tarragon. My 6-year-old wasn't fond of it. - 5/9/09

My husband isn't crazy about lemon so I used lime instead and added a little Jamaican jerk seasoning to the recipe. It was very tasty! The next time he goes out of town, I'll try the lemon version for my son and me. Thanks! - 5/29/08

I left out the lemon peel and added dill. Next time I would use less oregano, and more onion, they were delicious! I would probably add garlic, too. I used cornstarch t the end to thicken up the sauce. I loved it!! - 2/13/08

This was really good - it was very lemony, but I love lemon and my kids loved it. I served it with greek-style potatoes and a big salad. - 12/4/08

My picky kids and husband didn't care for this. It was ok if you like lots of lemon. The lemon peel taste was not very good. Would recommend leaving it out. - 11/26/07

I'm visiting a girlfriend in another city and I talked her into trying this. We loved it ... making a few modifications along the way...omitted salt and added both garlic and some Italian seasoning. Mmmmmm! - 6/25/09

I liked it but my kids didn't. It was too lemony. Maybe adding some splenda and soya sauce will help. Plus I found it was too much peel. - 2/20/09

I do almost exactly the same thing, except that I will fry the chicken in a pan instead of baking. You don't need any add'l oils; just use a good non-stick pan. As the chicken cooks on each side, take it out, slice it thin, then put it back in to finish cooking. This makes a great 10-minute meal. - 5/29/09

This is a family favorite. I usually leave the peel out just because I just don't have it available. My son even requested it for his birthday dinner!! It's a great meal when camping. Super easy! - 11/25/07

I have a hard time eating chicken - I just don't really like it - but this recipe is GREAT!! It's going to become one of my standard meals and I'm going to "write home" about it. ; ) Oh, I'll probably do more onions next time but that's just because I love onions. - 9/9/08

I cut down on the lemon juice because I thought it might be too lemony, but next time I'll use the whole amount or more. - 7/7/08

Followed exact recipe. I thought it was OK, my husband thought it lacked flavor, my 10 yr.old thought it was too lemony and my 6 yr.old ate it without commentary. I even used fresh oregano -disappointed because it's flavor was lost. Overall, disappointing! - 11/12/08

We have to use Turkey tenderloins instead of chicken, so it only needed 30 minutes of baking time, total. We all liked this very much! - 8/12/09

As with anything you marinate, I found that to truely get the whole lemony experience with this recipe you NEED to pierce the chicken breasts all over so the lemon really gets into the meat! Very nice recipe for something different! - 11/15/09

This was pretty good. Husband thought it tasted like fish because of the lemony taste. I zested the lemon peel and added capers. I agree with a previous commenter that I would add some chicken broth next time to the lemon juice mixture. - 10/3/09
