Easy tuna salad

Submitted by: RUNGRL2013

Introduction

I use this tuna salad either for lunch or a smaller portion after workout. Packed full of protein, low in fat, filling and nutritious, it's fast & easy to make--tastes amazing. Use in salad, sandwich or spread on cucumber or low calorie crispbreads (Finn crisp, Ryvita, Wasa). Enjoy! I use this tuna salad either for lunch or a smaller portion after workout. Ingredients

155 grams Tuna, canned, in water
1 stalk Celery, raw, 1 stalk
    1 tbsp Mayonnaise, regular
    1 Scallions, raw
    2 tbsp Capers, canned, drained
    Pepper to taste

Tips

*You can use low fat mayo, but you get a fuller taste with only 1 tbsp regular
*You can spice it up with jalapeno/serrano peppers
*The capers add a zing that makes it unnecessary to add salt, but you could if you wanted to

Directions

1) Drain tuna and place in medium mixing bowl
2) Break tuna chunks down using fork
3) Finely chop celery, scallions, capers and add to bowl with tuna.
4) Add mayonnaise and mix
5) Add pepper if using
Enjoy!
