Raw White Shrimp (enough for four) Chunky marinara Sauce (one jar) 1/2 box Whole wheat Spaghetti 2 tbsp canola oil 1/2 diced cup green peppers 1/4 diced cup celery 1/2 cup diced onion 1 tsp. garlic powder use A dash of Chili powder to taste a Dash of black pepper to taste
Saute green peppers, onions. and celery in one tbsp of canola oil. Add half of the spices. Cook for 5 minutes or until they reach a crisp tender consistency. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add the reaminder of canola oil to pan and place the shrimp in. along with the rest of the spices. Be sure that the shrimp reach the opaque color slightly (Shrimp can become rubbery if over cooked) . Add the veggies back to the pan along with the Marinara Sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. You can cook the spaghetti ahead of time. Cook the spaghetti according to the directions on the package.
