HOMEMADE CABBAGE SOUP

Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 lb package of shredded green cabbage
    1 qt low sodium chicken broth
    3 small red potatoes, cut in chunks
    1 15 oz can no salt green beans
    1 15 oz can no salt green peas
    1 11 oz can Del Montes Summer Crisp corn
    5 medium fresh tomatoes
    1 bell pepper
    1 jalepeno pepper
    Mrs. Dash to taste

Tips

This soup is great cold too!


Directions

Place cabbage and potatoes in 3/5 qt pot with chicken broth and another 3 cups water, bring to medium boil. Peel the tomatoes and chop, chop peppers, throw both into pot to cook. After cabbage is getting tender, put in the canned veggies and season with Mrs. Dash to taste.
