Peruvian Spicy Green Sauce

Introduction

Use with chicken or as a salad dressing. This sauce goes well with everything! Use with chicken or as a salad dressing. This sauce goes well with everything!

Ingredients

    3 whole jalapeņo chiles, roughly chopped (remove ribs and seeds for less spice)
    1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
    2 medium cloves garlic
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 cup sour cream
    2 teaspoons fresh juice from 1 lime
    1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar
    Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
    2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Combine jalapeņos, cilantro, garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, and vinegar in blender. Blend on high until smooth. Through lid opening or with lid removed, slowly add olive oil. Add salt and pepper to tast. Transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate until ready to use. Sauce will thicken after time in refrigerator.
