1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls 1/2 c. fruit jam (something tart like raspberry or apricot works best) 1 c. lowfat sour cream 1 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 egg
Press crescent rolls into the bottom of a greased 13x9 baking dish. Spread the jam over them evenly. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 425 until golden brown. While that is baking, mix the sour cream, vanilla, sugar, and egg thoroughly. Just before serving, spread the sour cream mixture over the jelly. Heat through on 325 for 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool a minute before serving .
I always look for something special to make for Christmas Breakfast. We made this and it was wonderful. My family really enjoyed it. It is so easy and quick to make also, which is really nice. Will make this again. Thanks for the recipe, it is a keeper.
