Fancy Quinoa

Introduction

This is a throw-together type of dish. It can be tweaked in any way you like. This is a throw-together type of dish. It can be tweaked in any way you like.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 cup dry Quinoa, rinsed
    1/4 cup onion, minced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1.5 tsp Safflower oil
    1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
    1 1/3 cup water
    spices to taste

Tips

I use various Mrs. Dash blends for this. It is easy to substitute different ingredients for different flavors.


Directions

Put all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to low and cook covered for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir and serve.

Serving Size: Makes 5 1/2 cup servings
