Ingredients

    1 oz raw almonds, sliced or chopped
    1 cup brown rice, preferably quick cook
    1 cup water

Tips

You can also toast the almonds in the oven for a nuttier flavor. Toast at 350 for about 7 min or until almonds start to brown.


Directions

Cook rice according to package instructions. Stir in almonds when rice is done cooking and serve.
