Hurry Up Chili

Introduction

This chili takes about 15 minutes to prepare. You can then simmer it for 3 or 4 hours on the stove, or toss it into the crockpot and let it cook all day. This chili takes about 15 minutes to prepare. You can then simmer it for 3 or 4 hours on the stove, or toss it into the crockpot and let it cook all day.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. beef chuck, cubed (or 1 lb lean ground beef)
    1/2 can chopped jalapenos
    2 can chili beans w spices
    1 can diced tomatoes (if you have some fresh tomatoes on hand, chop them and add)
    1 c. chopped sweet peppers
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 tb chili seasoning

Directions

Brown beef in large saucepan. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil. Covervand simmer 3 to 4 hours. If you like thick chili, take lid off during last 1/2 hour and let some of the juice boil off.
Makes about 8 servings (1 c) Season to taste.
