Turkeyburger Stew

Introduction

This recipe was originally Hamburger Stew but I cleaned it up a bit. I use ground turkey and leave out the rice. This recipe was originally Hamburger Stew but I cleaned it up a bit. I use ground turkey and leave out the rice.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 can diced tomatoes (no salt added)
    1 can sliced carrots
    1 can potatoes, rough chopped
    1 cup water
    2 celery ribs, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    Herbs to taste. I use a rub that I make but you can just use dried basil, oregano, paprika, onion and garlic powder to taste.
    1 Tbs. beef boullion granules

Tips

You may use all fresh vegetables about 1 1/2 cups = 1 can but for an easy dinner the canned work well.


Directions

Brown turkey in a large pan, add onion and continue to brown until onions are transparent. Add all of the rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil and then lower heat and cook covered for 60 minutes.
