Introduction

No bun needed. These have oats and flax meal in them already! No bun needed. These have oats and flax meal in them already!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    12 oz elk, ground
    1/2 onion, minced
    1/4 c raisins (golden preferred)
    1 1/2 Tb garlic (or to your liking)
    1/2 cup oats
    4 Tb ground flax seed

Tips

add about a tsp olive oil to pan (not included in nutrients) to keep this very lean meat from sticking.

For a smokey, outdoorsy flavor, add 1/2 tsp liquid smoke.

mix all together. make 6 patties. cook in cast iron skillet that has been seasoned til done.
