Introduction

Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    2 teaspoons olive oil
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
    1 pound broccoli, (about 4-5 cups), cut up
    1 cup onion, thinly sliced
    2 tablespoons dijon mustard
    1 tablespoon soy sauce, low-sodium
    1 ½ teaspoons sesame seeds

Directions

Heat a wok or frying pan on high heat. Add olive oil.

Stir fry the onions until light brown in color, 1-2 minutes.

Drizzle the sesame oil over the broccoli. Add to the onions and stir fry for 8-10 minutes.

While the vegetables are cooking, mix the mustard and soy sauce together in a small bowl. Stir until smooth. Add the sauce to the vegetables during the last few seconds of cooking. Give a quick stir and remove from the heat.

Transfer the veggies to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve.

Note: If you have time, toast the sesame seeds for extra flavor.
