Turkey Marinara Sauce

Ingredients

    Turkey breast meat, 32 ounce(s) (remove)
    Garlic, 5 clove (remove)
    Crushed Tomatoes, 406 grams (remove)
    Olive Oil, .5 tbsp (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1.5 large (remove)
    Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Tomato Sauce, 1 cup (remove)
    Tomato Paste, 0.06 cup (remove)
    Salt, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Campbell's low sodium chicken broth, .5 cup (remove)
    Basil, 1 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Add olive oil to large pot (preferably non stick) and turn heat to med-high. Add turkey and brown 5-7 minutes. Add vegetables and garlic. Cook stirring occasionally 10-15min. Add spices and tomato products. Reduce heat to low and simmer sauce for about 1 hour. Sample the sauce throughout the simmering time and adjust seasonings to taste. Leave sauce chunky, or blend until smooth using an immersion blender (or regular blender). Cook pasta according to package. Add Sauce and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
