Decadent but healthy chocolate peanut butter yogurt with strawberries

Submitted by: JANEGSN

Introduction

This feels very indulgent. But is high protein, fresh fruit, and some healthy nut fats with a little chocolate for decadence. I eat it as a meal when I really want a desert but want to eat healthy instead. This feels very indulgent. Ingredients

2 cups Fage non fat greek yogurt

chocolate - 82% plus, I like endangered species 88% dark chocolate and use 2 small squares (about 1 1/2" by 3/4"total)

1 tbsp Peanut butter - we do homemade but anything with nothing but peanuts is fine

1 cup Fresh berries washed and ready to eat - this recipe is calculated with strawberries but I have used blackberries also.

Tips

I have used coconut butter instead of peanut butter and that works well (not coconut oil or spread, but coconut butter which is ground coconut the same peanut butter is ground peanuts).
You can use 2 tbsp of peanut butter but it will increase your calories and fat (but when I am low on calories of fat I do this).

Directions

Choose a bowl you can put in the microwave that will hold all the ingredients (4 cups or so).
Place the dark chocolate in the bowl and put it in the microwave until it is just melted. Don't let it burn.
Stir in the peanut butter until well blended (this way the chocolate does not get hard when the cold Fage hits it, but will blend well with the Fage).
Then stir in the Fage and mix well. Note, you can use a hand blender if you want but a minute of stirring with a fork/spoon works well.

Top with the fresh berries.

Serving Size: One 3 cup serving (or you can split it into 2 servings)
