YamahaNana's Clam Chowder

Ingredients

    1429 grams red potatoes
    180 raw onions
    9 TSP. chopped garlic
    1 1/4 cup of the clam juice in the can
    3 cups tap water
    2, 142 g. cans of baby clams (313 grams)
    475 g cooked shrimps
    4 cups Half and Half Creamer
    2 cups Wipping cream
    .5 cup salted butter
    2 tsp black pepper
    2 tsp McCormick Garlic & Herb seasoning
    40 g. corn starch
    2 cups 1% milk



Directions

Put the clam juice in a stock pot and then add onions, chopped garlic and potatoes. Cook till potatoes start to get tender. Don't over cook.
Add shrimp and clams then the cream and butter. Stir to blend. Add the seasonings, pepper and McCormick seasoning.
In another dish add the corn starch, 5 TBS. and the 2 cups of milk. Stir and then add to the clam mixture. Stir.
Simmer for 45 minutes till it thickens a bit.
