Introductionthis is a traditional Italian favorite but I can't spell it (iyo oyo?) this is a traditional Italian favorite but I can't spell it (iyo oyo?)
2 TBS EVOO
1/4 tsp Anchovy Paste
2 cloves garlic minced very fine
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
4 oz Whole wheat spaghetti
1 TBS Parmesan
heat in small saute pan EVOO, add Garlic and red pepper flake, stir for 1 minute.
add Anchove paste and stir 1 more minute
drain spaghetti and add to saute pan.
stir and serve with parmesan cheese (can be omtted)
I sometimes add at the very end some left over chopped tomatos, sun dried tomatoes or fresh parsley for an added fresh flavor
