Sweet and Sour Pork

Introduction

This was made in a nutrispin cooker. Serve over rice. This was made in a nutrispin cooker. Serve over rice.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Pork Tenderloin 1 1/2 pounds sliced into strips
    1 onion sliced thinly
    1 shallot sliced
    1 clove garlic chopped finely
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp red wine
    1/4 cup of flour
    2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp tomato paste
    4 fresh tomatoes pureed or 8 oz tomato sauce
    5 oz unsweetened apple juice


Directions

-mix wine with 1 tbsp flour until smooth
-add to wine: vinegar, apple juice, tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar
-place onions and shallots in nutrispin with olive oil and cook for 5 minutes

-coat pork strips lightly with flour
-add pork and garlic to cooker and cook for 5 minutes
-add sauce and cook for 10 more minutes
