Peanut Butter and Chocolate Protein bars

Ingredients

    2 cups of old fashioned oatmeal
    2 cups of protein powder (whatever flavor)
    1 cup of honey
    1 cup of peanut butter (natural is always better)
    1 cup of whatever dried fruit, nuts or chocolate, coarsely chopped
    Few drops of vanilla extract

Tips

Some people warm the honey and peanut butter but I just mixed it all together. Some people also ground the oatmeal into a flour,I personally like the chunky oatmeal flakes.

Directions

Mix everything together. If the mixture seems a little dry, add some water to moisten. Once everything is mixed, place mixture on a plastic covered sheet pan or long baking dish. Press the mixture down until it is the thickness you want. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 1 to 2 hours or until firm. Once firm, cut into desired amounts and wrap individually. Keep bars refrigerated. Enjoy!
