Zuccini Pasta

Introduction

Found this recipe on the Dr. Oz site and replaced tomato sauce with Prego, reduced the amount of oil, and added butter. Found this recipe on the Dr. Oz site and replaced tomato sauce with Prego, reduced the amount of oil, and added butter.

Ingredients

    1 fresh Zuccini Squash (6-8 inch)
    1/2 C Prego Traditional Sauce
    1/4 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 pat of salted butter

Tips

I have found it faster and easier to use a cheese grater on the slice side verses the potato peeler when cutting the Zuccini.


Directions

Wash Zuccini. Use peeler to make strips of squash from Zuccini. Heat oil in pan. Add Zuccini stir and cook for 3 min. until squash is translucent. Add Prego and serve. Makes about 2 servings (3/4 C each).
