Pasta Primavera

Introduction

Pasta with some veggies Pasta with some veggies
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Barilla Rotini (or other pasta), 4 oz.
    1 spear broccoli
    1-2 cups raw baby spinach
    1 tomato
    0.75 cup Prego Traditional Spaghetti sauce (80cal/half cup - use of other sauce will change nutrition info)
    1/8 cup shredded part skim mozzarella

Directions

Cook pasta until al dente.

Meanwhile, mix sauce, spinach, and broccoli. Cover and microwave for 1 minute, stir. Recover and microwave 1-2 minutes more, until sauce is hot and broccoli and spinach are cooked. Chop tomato and add (or add before heating, depending on preference).

Drain cooked pasta.

Mix pasta and sauce thoroughly, then sprinkle cheese on top. Enjoy!
