Number of Servings: 15
1 small - medium onion
3 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tblsp of Garlic puret
1 tblsp of dried basil leaves
1 tblsp of dried oregano
1 pound of Ground Turkey
1/3 cup of Cooking Sherry
2 28 oz cans of Crushed Tomatoes
1 15 oz can of Tomato Sauce
6 oz can of tomato paste
1 dried bay leaf.
1 tspn. of salt
1/2 tspn of white pepper
Bring all to boil...then let simmer.
Cook med onion, garlic, basil, oregano in olive oil until soft. Add ground turkey (brown it). Add 1/3 cup of sherry wine (cook down). Add all tomatoes. Bring to boil - then let simmer for 30 min. excellent!
