This was really good with veggies. I used nonfat sour cream instead of the mayonnaise since I'm not a big fan of diet mayo. I think I would add more curry next time. - 7/20/08

For the question about tarragon vinegar...use regular balsamic vinegar and stir just the barest pinch of dried crushed tarragon into the dip along with the other spices. Too much tarragon can be really overpowering. - 3/24/08

What is tarragon vinegar? Any option for different type that would work as well without buying a bottle (assuming I can find it) for 2 tsp?

  • I've made an almost identical dip for years (without the tarragon vinegar - nice idea, but with more curry). Great with steamed artichokes and asparagus. I also stir some into chopped cooked chicken along with some grapes or raisins and toasted slivered almonds for a fabulous curried chicken salad. - 6/11/10
