Seriously Healthy Chocolate Covered Truffles

*Modified from an Elie Kruger recipe; tons of great antioxidants from dried prunes and figs, plus just enough chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth! *Modified from an Elie Kruger recipe; tons of great antioxidants from dried prunes and figs, plus just enough chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    15 Dried Figs
    10 Dried Prunes
    1/2 Tbsp Honey
    1 tsp Cinnamon

    7 Pieces of Hershey's Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Candies

Directions

In a food processor, blend together dried fruit, honey and cinnamon.

in a microwave safe bowl, break the chocolates in half and heat until just melting, about a minute or two. then stir until smooth.

roll the pureed fruit mixture into 15 uniform balls, then roll in the chocolate and set on a dish.

when all 15 balls are coated, place them in the fridge for a half and hour or so to set.

then, enjoy and don't feel bad!



makes 15 truffles, 1 per serving
