My Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

    Cabbage, fresh, 1/2 head, medium
    Chicken Broth, 1 can (10.75 oz)
    Canned Tomatoes, 1 can
    Onions, raw, 1 medium diced
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced diced
    Carrots, raw, 1 carrot shredded
    Garlic, 1 clove
    Basil, 1/4 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1/4 tsp
    Oregano, ground, 1/4 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1/4 tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1/8 tsp
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper sliced
    Green Beans (snap), 2 cup
    Mushrooms, canned, 1 cup
    Dash of ground Ginger

Directions

Shred cabbage and place it large pot. Pour in broth, tomatoes, green beans,onions, celery, carrots, garlic, jalapeno, and spices. Add additional water to cover and simmer 30 minutes or until done. Add mushrooms just before it is done.
