Pumpkin bread

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1/2 15oz can of pumpkin puree
    1/3 cup sugar
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1/8 tsp baking powder
    1/8 tsp allspice
    dash of ground cloves

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients well. Add egg, oil and pumpkin. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed. Grease 8 muffin tins (or use liners). Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until springy to touch.

Serving Size: Makes 8 muffins (or double recipe for a loaf)
