3oz tilapia fillet 1tbsp non fat milk 1tsp parmesan cheese 2tbsp of bread crumbs 1/4tsp of paprika 1 egg
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rinse and pat dry fish. In a medium bowl, combine egg and milk. In a separate bowl, combine parnesan cheese, breadcrumbs and paprika. Dip fish into egg mixture, then dip fish into bread crumb mixture, coating fish evenly. Arrange fish on a baking sheet or shallow pan. Discard any excess egg mixture and bread crumb mixture. Bake about 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Great basic recipe, but since I'm watching my carbs I replaced the breadcrumbs with soy flour and also added some chili powder, onion powder and a dash of garlic powder to kick it up a bit. But, overall, great recipe and the fish comes out lightly crisp with a wonderfully flaky texture.
Thanks for the delicious recipe. This is similar to the way I usually cook fish, but, I used to fry it in the pan. Definately alot healthier this way. I added a 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and 1 tsp. corn meal to give it some crunchiness. My kids loved it.
