apple cookies

Introduction

this is an old weight watchers recipe from long ago...the '70's. I don't believe it was ever published. this is an old weight watchers recipe from long ago...the '70's. I don't believe it was ever published.

Ingredients

grate the apple on your cheese grater. I leave the skin on for more fiber, but you can peel it if you want.

add the dry milk and dry oatmeal. Might have to adjust the amounts a bit depending on the juiciness/variety of the apple. let the dry ingredients absorb the apple liquid for a bit-- 4-5 minutes
Adding a tad of vanilla extract is an option here, too.

sweetener to taste. It doesn't take much! I use one single sized packet.

I recommend baking on parchment paper covered baking sheet. 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. watch so they don't burn.

Tips

Honestly, I can justify eating most of the results by myself...It's only an apple, milk and oatmeal.

Directions

Spoon mixture into cookie-sized portions; usually you can get 10 or so. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Watch so they don't burn! Peel off the parchment paper and enjoy
