Introduction

If you're like me you love autumn pumpkin flavored drinks and eats...and you wish they'd stay around all year! Pumpkin is just too good to enjoy for a few short months, right? My solution is to make this nutritious treat of a green smoothie any time! Great for breakfast or anytime snack and done in 5 minutes or less -- you can't beat that! Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    - 1/2 can organic pumpkin puree (1 cup homemade or canned)
    - 2 cups organic spinach (or any leafy green)
    - 1/2 frozen banana (chunks for easy blending)
    - 1 cup vanilla almond milk (or any type of milk you like)
    - 1 tsp pumpkin spice or cinnamon and nutmeg (add more or less to taste)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender. (I use a Magic Bullet, but any blender will do.) Blend and enjoy!

Serving Size: makes 1 16-ounce serving
