Introduction

This trifle dessert is delicious. It is a very thick cake type substance. There is a perfect mix between gooey goodness(pudding), and squishy pound cake. This desert can be used for just about any occasion. An athletic team, a birthday part, or a family reunion. Takes little time to make, and is ready within an hour of refrigeration. This trifle dessert is delicious. It is a very thick cake type substance. There is a perfect mix between gooey goodness(pudding), and squishy pound cake. This desert can be used for just about any occasion. An athletic team, a birthday part, or a family reunion. Takes little time to make, and is ready within an hour of refrigeration.

Ingredients

    3 cups cold milk
    2 packages (4-serving size)JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
    1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip, Whipped Topping, thawed
    1 package (12 ounces) pound cake, cut into 1/2-inch cubes + 1/4 cup orange juice
    2 cups sliced strawberries

Tips

1 hour refrigerating time is just a suggestion. 20-30 minutes will do.


Directions

POUR milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk for 1 minute. Gently stir in 2 cups of whipped topping.
ARRANGE 1/2 cup of the cake cubes in 3 1/2-quart serving bowl. Drizzle with 1/2 of the orange juice. Spoon 1/2 of the pudding mixture overt the cake cubes. Top with strawberries. Layer with remaining cake cubes, orange juice, and pudding mixture.
REFRIGERATE until ready to serve. Top with remaining whipped topping and garnish as desired.

Refrigerating Time: 1 Hour
