Garlic Lime Chicken

Introduction

Easy, low cal grilled chicken with great flavor! Easy, low cal grilled chicken with great flavor!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 six ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
    1/4 cup fresh lime juice
    1 T Worcestershire sauce
    2 cloves garlic, pushed through a press, or minced
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions

Put chicken breasts in a dish, mix all other ingredients and pour over. Let marinate for 1/2 hour to overnight. Remove chicken from marinade and grill. This works well even on a George Foreman Grill. The longer the chicken sits, the better it tastes, I swear!

    yum yum yum! the combination of the flavors was just wonderful. i baked the chicken instead at 375 degrees and it came out so wonderfully tender. i marinated the chicken for about 6 hours...next time i will go for doing so overnight :) - 9/8/08

    This was great!! I will definitely marinate longer next time for more flavor (I just ran out of time!). This would be a great marinade for fajitas also. (It is somewhat similar to one I use, but I like the addition of the lime juice! Thanks for sharing, will definitely make again - 5/19/09

    I use this all the time. If you find chicken breast on sale buy in bulk and portion out the chicken and the marinade into a freezer bags and freeze. Pull a bag from the freezer and thaw overnight in the fridge. It's a great time saver! I grill mine and use leftovers as protein in my salads. - 1/29/10

  • Really great.. whole family loved. I used chicken legs and marinated overnight. The skin came out really crisp after 1 hour at 400 degrees... will definitely make again and again..

  • next time I'm ready to grill I'm going to try it. For those like myself concerned about sodium I'll bet the marinade would still be yummy with about 2 T soy sauce. I use just a few drops to flavor stir fries, it works for me. - 4/21/09

    If you're going to reduce the low sodium soy sauce by that much, you need to adjust the other seasonings as well otherwise the lime juice and worcestershire will overwhelm the flavors and it definitely won't taste the same.
