Frogeye Salad

Introduction

Number of Servings: 25

Ingredients

    1/13 C Acini De Pepe Macaroni
    2 (16 oz) cans crushed pineapple
    2 (11 oz) cans mandarin oranges
    1 10 oz jar maraschino cherries
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    4 Tbsp cornstarch
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 (8 oz) cool whip

Directions

Drain all fruit into a bowl, set aside. Put juice from drained fruit into a saucepan. Add sugar, eggs and cornstarch. Cook over low until thickened. cook macaroni as directed and drain. Mix with sauce. Cool 4 hours. Then add to fruit and add Cool Whip. Mix all together. Makes a big bowl. I thought after I made this; close to St. Patricks day, I should have used green maraschino cherries for fun.

4 hour cooling time not included in Prep time.
