Quorn (Turkey) Negi-Maki

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Quorn Turkey Roast
    1/3 cup hoisin sauce
    1/4 cup mirin
    3 tablespoons water
    2 teaspoons Sriracha (plus extra for garnish)
    1 teaspoon fresh ginger, microplaned or minced to a paste
    1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

Directions

Defrost the Quorn Turkey Roast per package instructions. Using a mandoline, slice into 1/8" strips.

Mix hoisin, mirin, water, Sriracha, ginger, and sesame oil in a large bowl. Add the Quorn turkey roast strips and marinate for one hour, turning occasionally to coat evenly.

Preheat a grill to medium.

Cut scallion greens into 4" lengths and add to marinade. Take a slice of marinated turkey roast and place it on a dinner plate. Place 4 or 5 scallions across, so that scallions will poke the ends. Roll the seitan around the scallion and secure the roll with a toothpick. Repeat until all rolls are formed

Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray. Grill the rolls until grill marks appear on each side, turning once (about 15 minutes).

Drizzle with remaining marinade and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds before serving.
