Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 lb lean ground turkey
    1 medium yellow onion, chopped
    2 cans Italian style stewed tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 cup water
    2 cloves of garlic-minced
    2 tbsp fresh Basil, chopped
    1 tsp ground oregano or dried italian spice blend
    12 oz elbow macaroni
    10 oz bag frozen corn
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Optional: 1 Tbsp minced jalapeno pepper

Tips

for Vegetarian version omit the turkey.
for Spicy goulash add jalapeno
Time is for crockpot high setting and may vary


Directions

Put olive oil, turkey and onion in crockpot on high, breaking up turkey and stirring until no longer pink.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cook on high 3 hours or on low 5-6 hours until pasta is tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
