Oat & Apple sauce bite-sized snack

Introduction

Egg-less, dairy-less, flour-less, with no added sugar. A fantastic post-workout pick-me-up.

Egg-less, dairy-less, flour-less, with no added sugar. A fantastic post-workout pick-me-up.


Number of Servings: 50

Ingredients

    3 medium mashed bananas (ripe)
    1/3 cup apple sauce
    2 cups large flake oats
    ¼ cup almond milk, unsweetened
    ½ cup raisins
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp cinnamon


Tips

Optional: Add extra cinnamon or top each portion with one or two chocolate chips, a piece of apple, cranberries or other fruit. *These are not included in the caloric calculation for this recipe.


Directions

Mix everything together. Measure tablespoon-sized portions onto baking sheet. Leave rounded or slightly flatten portions. Bake at 350 C for 15 – 20 minutes. Cookies will firm as they cool. Store in airtight container and refrigerate or freeze.

Serving Size: Makes about 50 tablespoon-size cookies.
