Ingredients

    2 cups whole-wheat flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder

    1/2 cup butter or marg
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup banana, mashed (2 -3 large)
    5 tbsp. milk
    1 egg

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Grease loaf pan.

Mix dry ingredients together.

Cream butter and sugar, add banana, milk, and egg. Mix until well-combined.

Slowly add dry to wet, mixing constantly. Pour into loaf pan. Bake about 50 minutes until centre no longer wet when tested. Makes 1 loaf - about 12 slices. Keeps really well, covered at room temperature.
