IntroductionExtra-garlicy tofu stir-fry Extra-garlicy tofu stir-fry
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 block of firm tofu, cubed
6 cloves of garlic (or to taste)
1 bag (14 oz) of any type of frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 cup of oyster sauce
1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Add tofu and garlic
Add about half of the oyster sauce.
Cook for about 5 minutes.
Remove tofu to a bowl.
In same pan, add vegetables, chicken broth, and the rest of the oyster sauce. Cook until heated through.
Add tofu back to the pan and heat through.
Serve over rice.
Makes 4 servings

Never having used Oyster sauce I didn't realize there was an Asian flare to it, so I used pretty basic mixed veggies. Carrots, peas, gbeans corn. If I were to make again (which I might) I would use different veggies. I like the flavor, but it seemed a little bland. What it needed I am not sure. - 12/5/10
