MARTHA'S SALLY LUNN BREAD

Introduction

GREAT SANDWICH BREAD.MMMMM. GREAT SANDWICH BREAD.MMMMM.
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    1 PK dry yeast
    .5 c warm water
    .3 c sugar

    3.5 c flour may add more later
    1 tsp salt

    .5 c warm milk
    butter 1 stick to melt

    3 eggs beaten with fork

Tips

loosen with spatula to remove from pan. let cool before slicing.


Directions

let yeast bloom with water and sugar

mix dry ingredients

melt butter in milk

break up eggs

mix eggs in bubbly yeast mixture. add to dry ingredient. add butter mixture. mix well, cover and let raise for 2 hours, until double.

stir down and place in long high bread pan, 1 Pullman pan or two loaf pans. cover and let raise again for 2 hours or until double. dough is very sticky.

bake for approx. 3/4 hour at 375 degrees
