    3 dozen littleneck clams, scrubbed
    1 cup finely chopped onions
    1 cup finely chopped carrots
    1/2 cup finely chopped celery
    2 teaspoons minced garlic
    Pinch dried thyme
    Pinch red pepper flakes
    2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • This sounds really good and I plan to try it, the only reason I didn't was I didn't have all the ingredients it called for. I was looking for an easy low calorie recipe because I had the clams. I wish I had seen this recipe before I went to the store. - 6/4/10
