Boiled Cabbage Dinner

Introduction

A lighter version made with turkey ham. A lighter version made with turkey ham.
Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    16 oz (1lb) Turkey Ham
    4 Medium Russet Potatoes
    1 Medium Head of Cabbage
    1 16oz bag of Baby Carrots

Tips

This can be done in a pot on the stove on low or in a crock pot on med/high.


Directions

Cut up the turkey ham in to bite size pieces. Do the same to the potatoes and add them into the bottom of the crock pot. Then add in the bag of baby carrots. Next slice the cabbage in to rather large chunks (to make sure they do not over cook) and place on top of the carrots. The turkey ham goes on top of this to help make sure the flavor is all though out. Add salt, pepper, and garlic per taste. I also add about a cup of water in to help create a little more stem to make sure everything is nice and cooked.

Serving Size: This typically makes about 6 or 7 one cup servings depending on how many veggies you decide to put in.
