Beef Stew Crockpot

Ingredients

    2 pounds beef round stew meat, cut in 1" cubes
    1/4 cup flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspon pepper
    4 pkg Herb Ox lo-sodium beef broth
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
    1 clove garlic
    1 bay leaf
    1 teaspoon paprika
    2 carrots sliced
    2 potatoes diced
    1 white/purple medium turnip diced
    2 onions, chopped
    1 stalk celery, clised

Directions

Place meat in Crock-Pot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat; stir to coat meat with flour.

Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well.

Cover an cook on Low 10-12 hours (High: 4 to 6 hours.

Stir stew thouroughly before serving.

  • Delicious. The best part of this recipe is that I prepared it the night before and then put everything in the crock pot in the morning. When I came home - VOILA! - dinner was ready! There was enough for my husband and Ito eat it for lunch the next day.
