Introduction

This is a great recipe to prepare and freeze and then put in crockpot when ready. Best stew recipe I have found. This is a great recipe to prepare and freeze and then put in crockpot when ready. Best stew recipe I have found.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 pound beef stew meat
    1 1/4 c chopped carrot
    1 1/4 c chopped onion
    3/4 c chopped celery
    5 c water
    1 tsp parsley flakes
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 tsp sugar
    2 tbsp. beef boullion powder
    1/2 cup pearl barley
    15 oz tomato sauce

Tips

I put all ingredients in a Ziploc freezer bag except the water. I freeze and take out a day before I want to make it. I then put it in the crockpot and add the water and cook on low all day. Delicious!!

Directions

Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours
