Curry Beef and Rice

Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups of water
    1 chicken bouillon packet
    3/4 cups brown rice
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 Tbsp dried parsley
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    1/4 cup dried onions
    1 lb. of lean ground beef
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 cup pecans

Directions

Brown hamburger and drain excess grease. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add celery and onion. Then, add water, rice, parsley, allspice, and curry powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Cook for 50-60 minutes. Add nuts and serve. Makes 5-6 servings.
