Turkey Black Bean Burgers

Introduction

I make my burgers in bulk for the week so this recipe is quite large but it is easy enough to split. I make my burgers in bulk for the week so this recipe is quite large but it is easy enough to split.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    2 pkgs of Gr. Turkey
    1 can Black Beans (split half and put in processor to mash)
    1/2 cup steel cut oats (I grind my oats to flour)
    1 env. Mrs. Dash Garden Vegetable
    1 env. Mrs. Dash Meatloaf Seasoning
    2 tbsp. Mrs. Dash Spicy Seasoning
    3 tbsp Egg Beaters

Tips

When I cook these on my Foreman I lightly spray the grill with Pam, I also put chili powder and Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb on the burgers as they cook. This also gives them a nice crisp cover and taste when done.


Directions

Combine all ingredients, cover and SET ASIDE FOR 2 HOURS, this lets the spices and the meat meld together.

I form burgers a little smaller than a baseball and flatten them and then grill them on my Foreman grill or you can grill them outside too if weather permits.


Serving Size: Makes 16 4-oz burgers
