Cherie's Cornbread

Cornbread made with Splenda Cornbread made with Splenda
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 egg
    1 cup 1% milk
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1 1/2 cups cornmeal
    1 cup flour
    8 Splenda packets or 1/8 cup Splenda
    2 1/2 tsp baking powder
    3/4 tsp salt

Directions

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a 8 or 9 inch square pan with 1 tsp olive oil. In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients then add milk, oil and egg. Mix until moistened well but do not over mix. Pour into greased pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and dry.
