Beef Tips

Ingredients

    1 lb beef
    2 lg onions sliced
    1 pkg 8 oz frozen pepper mix
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1 Tbsp garlic
    1 Tbsp oregano
    1 Tbsp sweet basil
    2 Tbsp Nestle Grill Mates Teryaki sauce

    1/2 box of Barilla Plus Rotini

Directions

cut beef into strips
saute in non-stick skillet sprayed w/cooking spray
add peppers, onions, mushrooms and spices and sauce. cook until peppers and onions are semi-crisp.

Cook pasta and drain. Divide the pasta and the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and serve the meat mixture over the pasta.

Makes 4 servings (approx 2 cups mixed.)

  • I skipped the pasta, upped the garlic and the teryaki sauce a smidge, and used Morning Star fake beef- and it was still delicious! I imagine it would be even better with real meat. Also, it scales down very nicely for those of us cooking only for ourselves. - 10/3/07
