Dad's Black Beans

Introduction

Ingredients

    2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    2 heaping tbsp diced garlic
    1 tsp coriander
    0.5 tsp cumin
    1 dash cayenne pepper
    0.5 tsp basil
    3 cans (130 grams each) Bush's Black Beans
    0.5 tsp black pepper
    0.5 tsp salt

Directions

Heat a pan, and put 2 tbsp olive oil in it.
Add 2 heaping tbsp garlic, saute until brown, but not burned.
Add 1 tsp coriander, 0.5 tsp cumin, 1 dash cayenne pepper, and 0.5 tsp basil.
Stir into oil, let cook for a minute. Don't burn!
Add three cans beans.
Cook for 20 minutes, squashing the beans slightly to cook them better.
Add 0.5 tsp black pepper and 0.5 tsp salt.
Serve over rice.
