Fried Brown Rice

Introduction

Healthier version of basic fried rice. Feel free to swap any veggies that are in the refrigerator for the ones I used! Healthier version of basic fried rice. Feel free to swap any veggies that are in the refrigerator for the ones I used!

Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey, browned
    1 cup brown rice, cooked according to package
    1 cup California Medley
    1 cup cabbage, (mine was boiled)

Tips

This is great for any leftovers found in the refrigerator. I plan to make rice up just for use in this recipe.


Directions

Thaw any frozen veggies being used. Brown the ground turkey using cooking spray in the pan. Cook the rice according to package directions. Use a skillet big enough to hold everything and brown vegetables before adding rest of ingredients. If desired, use Low-sodium Soy sauce to season further.
